The Data Analyst role is placed within MSS in the Product Control (PC) department, Data Quality stream.
PC Data Quality function ensures that data is appropriately used in business processes and the data quality is sufficient to operate the Banks services and controls.
Role exposes you to various senior stakeholders both in Product Control and DAO.

What you’ll do:
• Review data quality issues raised by PC, work with line teams, DAO, business managers to convert them into robust business cases to present to senior stakeholders for funding approval.
• Coordinate with IT streams/Architects and Data Engineering Lead to understand how data quality issues might be improved strategically and how Data controls requirements are answered within new projects.
• Manage the projects in the pipeline and coordinate DQ PC BoW for progress on dates, completion and Aurora (DQ managing system) for proper tracking in the system.
• Represent PC in Data Quality forums.
• Facilitate implementation of data controls to meet regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering Lead ensuring the proper and correct delivery of standardised data to teams across Product Control.
• Assist in implementation and maintenance of project governance standards in PC Data, Engineering and Quant teams.

What you need to have to succeed in this role:
• University graduate in financial or economic subject or university graduate in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering or similar.
• Good understanding of Product Control production environment.
• Good knowledge of project management tools is a must, VBA, Access & SQL is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills allowing to manage relationships with stakeholders at various levels of seniority and different backgrounds.
• Ambitious, driven and enthusiastic. Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem solving.
• Excellent written English and oral communication skills.
• CFA / FRM qualification will be an asset.
