Your career opportunity
The MGOC team within GRA Traded and Operational Risks (TnO) provides support for all model governance activities. We are seeking a Model Governance Analyst to join our team, working closely with model owners and stakeholders to ensure models are developed, implemented, and managed in compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. 

What you’ll do
Collaborate with model owners to ensure compliance with model governance policies throughout the model lifecycle 
Maintain and update the model inventory, ensuring accuracy, and completeness of model records.
Track the status of models, including their validation, approval, and performance monitoring metrics.
Assist in coordinating and conducting periodic model reviews and validations in collaboration with validators.
Prepare and present regular model governance reports to senior management and governance committees.
Identify opportunities to automate governance processes, reducing manual effort and enhancing operational efficiency.
Monitor and manage model risk issues, remediation plans, and policy dispensations.
Provide guidance to model owners and stakeholders on governance policies and best practices.

What you need to have to succeed in this role
Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as finance, risk management, data science, computer science, or business. Advanced degree preferred.
3-5 years of experience in model governance, risk management, data analytics, or related fields.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to model risk management (e.g., SR 11-7, SS1/23).
Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Excel).
Highly organized, proactive, and able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
