Your career opportunity
As Transaction Services Expert, you will be responsible for managing complex and standard lending in Loan IQ for HSBC Continental Europe, supporting end-to-end credit customer journey across Corporate and Institutional Banking (‘CIB’).
The role will require you to manage operational activities with within defined Service Level Agreements (‘SLA’) and high-level quality, while ensuring that areas of operational risks are identified, monitored and managed effectively to enable business continuity. Adaptability to a changing environment and alignment of operation to strategic decisions will be key to succeed.
The Credit Services Department is built with a highly experienced team of individuals who manages end-to-end process for loan and credit administration for both bilateral and syndicated deals for CIB. Credit Services fundaments are in providing credit & collateral management service for European markets while seeking continued innovations and improvement through digital solutions.
What you’ll do
• Manage all structured and syndicated loan files related to asset financing, LBOs, corporate loans, real estate developer loans, international trade-related loans, and buyer credits for standard & complex transactions.• Produce operational comments on the Loan Agreement for the TMU/ISV Sector middle-office Teams.• Collaborate closely with Transaction Managers and TMU/ISV Sector Teams to draft, finalise, and maintain accurate Deal Summary Templates (DSTs), ensuring they reflect the executed Loan Agreement and are promptly updated following any amendments or waiver decisions that impact the agreement’s static data.• Input deals into the operating system (Loan IQ) and enter data into various management tools/systems• Establish refinancing contracts with the trading room and handle deal closing.• Monitor generated payments and pending items (principal, interest, fees).• Manage relationships with pool banks and borrowers.• Ensure compliance with HSBC rules (FIM, ethics).
What you need to have to succeed in this role
• University degree in one of the following fields: Banking, Finance, Accountancy, Economics, Law.• Experience in the banking industry and corporate credit area.• Knowledge of corporate finance, understanding of complex financial loan operations, proficiency with Loan IQ operating system, accounting knowledge.• Proven experience in managing a broad group of stakeholders in an international environment.• Strong interpersonal skills, rigor, efficiency, proactivity, dynamism, team spirit.• Good analytical skills, with the ability to multi-task and manage several applications; problem-solving skills, excellent communication and the ability to work in a team.• Fluent English (oral and written). French would be an asset.• Proficiency in MS Office.
What we offer
The pay range for this role is 9 225 PLN – 13 500 PLN (monthly, gross).
Variable pay is discretionary, but influenced by Group performance, business/function performance and individual performance.
