We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of  Global Trade Solutions Data Product Manager.

Principal responsibilities

  • Provide specialist support in handling activities relating to improved data quality across global and country product teams

  • Support your manager in preparing and delivering data-driven performance updates to GTS leadership teams 

  • Constantly look for ways to improve automated data sourcing across current GTS systems and processes

  • Exercise a high degree of adherence in uncovering data inconsistencies across various GTS source systems and reports and validate for accuracy to support quality reviews undertaken by the team

  • Identify opportunities in commercializing our data to improve client and colleague experience, increase revenue, improve risk management and reduce manual handling of data sourcing & handling

  • Help in gathering of detailed data requirements for stakeholders to deliver analytics and reports helping their ongoing review process

  • Ability to prioritize and work independently under pressure within a global matrix team environment

  • Good interpersonal skills required, with an ability to collaborate with colleagues across segments (sales, finance, services) and geographies being essential

  • Experience in managing and delivering project or programs in your current role is desirable

Requirements

  • Skills that translate to asking the right questions, understanding the tasks, and communicating ideas and actions clearly
  • Knowledge of Data Computing or exposure to Data Quality assessment and control techniques is a plus.
  • Good analytical skills especially in understanding business processes, P&L, client management and product management
  • Strong at using Microsoft product suite (Excel, Power Point, etc.) and ability to deliver on timelines and working on large set of risk
  • TM1 and Omnia knowledge is preferred and Good GTS product knowledge and understanding of GTS product risks is desirable
  • Experience in OKR / Performance Frameworks (e.g., Scorecard, HSBC P&L, etc)
  • Ability to challenge assumptions and validate data accuracy and Ability to turn numbers into actionable insights & business plan (data story telling)
  • Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and SQL- Ability to create / query relational database efficiently SQL lite, MySQL
  • Ability to handle missing values, outliers, duplicates and inconsistent data
  • Experience to create / query relational database efficiently SQL lite, MySQL
  • Data manipulation (Pandas, dplyr), visualization (Matplotlib, ggplot2), and analysis and automation libraries for Excel and Power point
  • User proficiency in tools like Power BI, QlikSense . Ability to create dashboards and communicate insights visual
