We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Head of Client Risk Management.
Principal Responsibilities
In this role you will
- Be accountable for the First Line of Defence Risk Management Framework for Singapore International Wealth and Premier Banking (IWPB), including all Risk & Control related tasks, developing appropriate Risk Control Assessment (RCA), Control Monitoring Assessment (CMA), Key Risk Indicator (KRI), Risk Appetite and The Management Information (MI) and Reporting thereof by which the regular Monitoring can be well managed
- Manage Sales Quality team for post trade sampling, and oversee the planning, execution, and reporting of independent audits of the sales lifecycle to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
- Manage Quality Control (QC) for Account Opening and Customer Due Diligence (CDD) / Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) Quality , ensuring adherence to Know Your Customer (KYC), Customer Due Diligence (CDD), and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) standards
- Manage Risk Culture and Conduct Issues by driving initiatives that promote a strong risk culture across the business, emphasizing ethical behaviour, accountability, and transparency
- Manage Chief Data Office by developing and implementing enterprise data strategy aligned with business objectives; govern data quality, data governance frameworks, and metadata management
- Act as the security liaison between business units and the central security team and to implement cybersecurity strategies tailored to specific business functions
- Collaborate on incident response and business continuity planning with IWPB teams and supporting functions
- Develop and maintain third-party risk management policies and frameworks for IWPB; Conduct risk assessments and due diligence for new and existing vendors and Monitor third-party compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory standards
To be successful you will need
- Degree graduate in Business or related discipline with proven and progressive analytical, planning and project management experience in a business or project management function or equivalent
- Advanced risk management experience with deep technical experience in managing Non-Financial Risk Framework
- Comprehensive knowledge of the external environment (Risk, regulatory, political, competitors etc.)
- Outstanding relationship management, collaboration and influencing skills with experience of positive, challenging interactions with senior executives across multiple functions
