Human Resources (HR)

Human Resources leads the implementation of the Group’s People strategy, facilitating talent management, succession planning and employee mobility while defining and overseeing frameworks that support employee performance management, reward, learning and development, resourcing and engagement. Ensuring talent practices support relevant stakeholders and reflect HSBC values, the function reviews the people implications of business plans while delivering policies, projects, processes and activities in support of business objectives.

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.

In this role, you will:

·       Drives regional and local HR initiatives and the strategic people agenda for PINB, aligning to the strategic direction set by the Group/region and utilizing external best in class practices and benchmark standards in offering proactive, topical and bespoke HR solutions to businesses

·       Diagnose the people priorities of the business plans which will enable the successful execution of the business strategy

·       leveraging professional expertise and business acumen while work closely with CEO, influence discussions and outcomes

·       Partner with CEO and EXCO members, facilitate to explore future strategy, the ways to make it happen, what should be considered along the way.

·       Identify organization capability and culture to realize business strategy, as well as a proper operation module to support this strategy.

·       Created a shared vision from top team to every staff, make it a understandable objective, must win battle, and key action plan, help everyone understand what is critical to success and translates into specific objectives and targets

·       Uses human capital metrics to anticipate and identify local trends, risks and needs within the business and translates these into strategic and relevant HR deliverables, managing their deployment into the business

·       Ensures the attraction, identification, development, and engagement of talents within assigned portfolio in order to build a robust and sustainable talent pipeline to meet business goals

·       Engages different HR teams in entities under Pinnacle and HR COEs to deliver the people plan.

·       Partner with business leaders and managers in Pinnacle to drive effective people plans and strategic workforce solutions that contribute to business profitability and competitiveness. 

·       Engages Communications and Risk Management to support employee communication and related people risk management outcomes in Pinnacle.

·       Partner with CEO shaping and aligning talent for the business and build robust succession plan for critical role

·       Be talent champion, encourage CEO and its EXCO teams contribute to developing/ nurturing top talent/ diverse talent, build mindset while developing future workforce plan including future skills to meet business plan

·       Creates an environment where people can perform at their best, challenge, speak up and promote employees to be their authentic selves

Requirements

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

              

·       Outstanding learning agility, seasoned leadership, extensive HR experience and proven track record in a fast-moving, complex and demanding corporate environment

·       Strong capability of biz incumbent, partner with CEO via coaching, implementing transformation and change programmes

·       Comprehensive knowledge and experience in relevant industry with a focus and interest in the Insurance, brokerage, and wealth management business, with demonstrated ability to apply insights and analytics into solutions implementation

·       Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage senior stakeholder’s relationships

·       Proven ability to manage change initiatives and HR projects across multiple business units

·       Fluent in Chinese writing and oral.

·       A Bachelor’s degree ideally with a post graduate qualification in an HR related discipline
