Head of Mortgage Product Management
Hang Seng's Liabilities, FX, Mortgage and Secured Lending Division offers a wide spectrum of Wealth and Personal Banking products to meet customer’s needs. With the dynamic business environment and emerging opportunities in the market, there is increasing demand on diverse Mortgage solutions and enhanced customer journey.
We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join us as the Head of Mortgage Product Management.
Responsibilities:
The role reports to the Head of Mortgage Business and oversees a full suite of Mortgage products, supporting product proposition development, product governance & maintenance, customer communications and portfolio management. The role will assist the Head of Mortgage Business to develop, revamp and execute Mortgage programs and projects to optimize asset balance and revenue growth, expand market share, deepen customer relationship, and enhance product capabilities so as to optimise ROTE as per business objectives and plan. The role also supervises and provides coaching to a team of staff to ensure smooth execution of all initiatives in compliant with both regulatory and global standard and requirements.
- Manage Mortgage product development and portfolio, work closely with internal and external business partners and second line of defense, to deliver top-tier Mortgage products to selected customer segments.
- Drives and coordinates the full product life cycle (acquisition, anti-attrition, new product, portfolio management, channel optimisation, cross-sell, policy control and risk management oversight), to ensure product competitiveness and meet the evolving needs of customers.
- Work closely with key stakeholders on projects and initiatives to sustain desirable market shares and reinforce Mortgage as the anchor product for customer deepening and cross-selling.
- Responsible for budget, resource allocation, revenue & expense management and performance metrics, risk, governance & controls against established business objectives & plans.
- Identify appropriate risk appetite, diving the development and optimization of first-line business-led risk management processes and procedures and partner with risk stewards to drive consistency in risk management and exposure.
- Monitor regulatory changes and requirements related to Mortgage products and activities.
Requirements
- University degree in a finance related discipline or other relevant qualifications
- Solid years in progressively increasing experience related to bank Mortgage &/or lending products and delivery
- Demonstrated people management experience including talent attraction, development, and people management skills
- Proven analytical and problem analysis and solutioning experience
- Highly developed interpersonal, verbal, and presentation capabilities
- Proficiency in both English and Chinese
