In this role you will:
• Form part of the Senior Leadership Team for the business, and be responsible for delivering balance sheet growth and optimisation, digital platform development, and ensuring proper controls and conduct Key Performance Indicators are in place
• Lead a high performance, multi-disciplined team responsible for Retail Banking products, including Liabilities and Transactional Banking, Wealth & Foreign Exchange, as well as Lending (secured and unsecured)
• Develop and manage the overall product strategy for the business
• Be accountable for profit and loss statement delivery and portfolio optimisation, including active pricing and margin management to maximise balance sheet performance
• Own end to end customer journeys across all retail products, understand present and future customer needs, and identify future market opportunities
• Continuously reassess operational risks related to Retail Banking products and inherent risks within the business
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following criteria:
• Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in a Retail Banking business (ideally both lending and liabilities)
• Experience in multi-product and multi-channel operations
• Knowledge and experience of risk management across various risk categories including credit, operational, conduct, financial crime, and regulatory compliance risks
• Understanding and experience of international customers and the opportunities for growth within the client segment would be a distinct advantage
• Solid analytical skills with the ability to build excellent relationships
• Demonstrated leadership of a professional product team
