The country head of sales in GPS


• Managing new business relationships and strengthening existing ones, whilst ensuring fair outcomes for all types of customers

• Communicating new products, propositions and relevant market information to customers

• Managing the identification of sales opportunities and ensuring these are developed

• Devising plans and strategies to generate new business, as well as increasing revenue for existing ones to achieve balance growth, sales or revenue targets

• Collaborating with internal stakeholders, which may include relationship managers and product specialists, to maximize cross-selling opportunities for the Bank

• Managing events, initiatives and activities to develop business opportunities

• Protect the Bank's reputation and ensuring an acceptable risk profile, whilst deepening understanding of the clients

• Responsible for the business development team


Qualifications

·       Strong leadership and management skills and relevant experience

·       Strong knowledge of local, regional and global cash management and clearing services, products and techniques.

·       Proven Sales Record

·       Relationship Management experience at multiple levels plus a proven sales record

·       Proven ability in identifying and meeting customer needs through matching a broad range of products and services

·       Proven ability to deliver creative and flexible customer solutions.

·       Ability to understand a customers business and the fundamentals of running a business

·       Good level of business acumen and commercial awareness, including economic, cultural, procedural and regulatory issues

·       Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders

·       Excellent time management, planning and organisation skills

·       Excellent range of communication skills, including written, verbal, and the ability to deliver compelling presentations

·       Strong analytical and selling skills

A good understanding of the market & market trends, competitive environment and regulatory environment
