We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Head of WPB Tech Delivery Mexico

This role will have oversight and accountability for the technology agenda and business relationships for Mexico scale market - with particular focus on Digital transformation, Wealth, architecture simplification, along with strategic initiatives such as LAC (Leveraging Americas Capabilities) and Mexico growth as a home market


Principal responsibilities 

Own and deliver end-to-end Technology services that may be specific to WPB Technology Mexico

• Execute and bring transparency of Technology activities to the business

• Accountable for managing suppliers to ensure that service performance targets are met

• Accountable to the Business for monitoring and delivery of overall service/application health; including underlying infrastructure and technology currency, capacity and performance

• Accountable for championing, implementing and maintaining the published Technology target operating model within WPB Technology, establishing effective DevOps to deliver end-to-end Technology services

• Accountable for the commercial success of the DevOps functions for WPB Technology

• Responsible for ensuring that WPB Technology Strategy is in alignment with and enables the overall IT Strategy

• Accountable for the successful scoping, funding and execution of the WPB portfolio of Technology change, in line with business strategy, while maintaining Technology technical and operational standards and methods

• Enables and supports end-to-end execution and support for the relevant GB/GF, including liaising with the appropriate Technology Function leads

• Accountable for successful business management of the WPB Tech Mexico

• Accountable for embedding and maturing the DevOps and Agile ways of working across Technology

• Responsible for ensuring control monitoring is conducted and reported to risk owners (including testing by BRCMs), and control procedures are validated (using a combination of exception reports, self-certification, and sample reviews)

• Responsible for designing and tracking key indicators for the control to ensure timely identification and escalation of exceptions and issues in WPB Technology Mexico

• Responsible for ensuring that appropriate technology business continuity plans are developed and maintained in WPB Technology Mexico
