As a Human Resource Consultant, you will be accountable for managing the successful delivery of HR projects and initiatives that align with and support the business strategy set out in strategic people plans. You will partner with HR Business Partners, HR Advisors and specialists to shape and deliver pragmatic, commercially focused solutions to complex organizational challenges. Through the strategic framing of issues and leveraging both internal and external expertise, you will drive measurable impact for our business at the global and country level, strengthening business and people performance and creating commercial value.
As our Human Resource Consultant you will:
Juggle short-term problem solving with longer range vision and connect the dots in between to drive strategic alignment and focused execution
Manage project delivery proactively balancing scope, schedule, interdependencies, budget and risks – and program controls and procedures within given initiatives
Provide oversight or input to how HR initiatives align to the People and/ Business strategy and relevant global/ country business/functional People Plans
Act as a connector across multiple initiatives, identifying overlaps, synergies, and roadblocks to delivery
Develop and implement frameworks and processes to improve HR effectiveness and the employee experience
Effectively build and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders and influence across a broad range of stakeholders
Design high-quality presentations and deliver them with credibility and empathy
Report progress, issues, dependencies and risks to the relevant stakeholders and governance forum and make recommendations in order to maintain progress towards delivery
Manage temporary project teams if required and as appropriate
For this role, HSBC targets a pay range between $150,000.00 and $215,000.00
The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.

You´ll likely have the following qualifications to succeed in this role:
Consulting experience either in house or at human capital consulting firm
Exceptional collaboration and interpersonal skills with demonstrated adaptability in approach, tailoring communication, and engagement strategies to effectively influence and drive outcomes
Excellent written and verbal communications skills with the ability to develop board-quality papers and executive-ready materials
Strong presentation skills and data storytelling
Experience in leading complex projects and sprint interventions
Experience of working in an HR environment consisting of business partnering/relationship management with business leaders supported by shared services and areas of expertise
Experience in transformation/change and/or project management roles
Role model and ambassador for HSBC behaviours, and the ability to deal assertively but sensitively with internal and external customers across a matrix environment
