In this role, you will:
• Ensure day-to-day operations/ process runs smoothly and operational procedures are in place.
• Provide the highest standard of service to SSV clients.
• Make decisions and resolve issues from daily Operations using both tactical and strategic solutions
• Drive Operational Excellence: Ability to carry out Service Delivery through Operational excellence tools
• Maintain awareness of Group Compliance Policy and Operational risks
• Comply with Group Audit and Internal Control standard
Requirements
To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
• Strong experience in banking / financial services. Custody business knowledge is preferred, spanning Global Custody or Direct Custody and Clearing, alternatively other securities post-trade experience.
• Strong knowledge of financial services, operations as a function, asset classes such as equities, fixed income, managed funds & unlisted securities, products and industry standard systems & processes.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (spoken and written) in English & Arabic (preferred) to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and with internal & external stakeholders
• Ability to learn quickly, transfers knowledge, understand and interpret numeric data to make Operational decisions and drive business strategy.
• Masters degree or equivalent is preferred
• Certificate of completion of securities courses would also be an advantage
