We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Insurance Specialist, Team Head.
Principal Responsibilities
In this role you will
- You will be responsible for the development and growth of insurance sales within the Premier Banking segment. Premier Banking is a strategic priority for HSBC providing everyday banking with global access to customers from basic banking, card spending, wealth support and more
- You are expected to be a technical expert in insurance products ranging from endowment, whole life, investment-linked plans and able to provide insights on the advisory on various financial needs in Manage Wealth, Retirement, Protection, Education and Legacy to HNW customers
- You will lead a team of Insurance Specialists and work closely with the Sales Directors, Wealth Team Heads, and Insurer HSBC Life team to support the Premier Relationship Managers (PRM) in their day-to-day sales, assist them in deepening and growing client relationships through driving insurance appointments, uncovering client's needs and recommending suitable insurance products
- You will be reporting directly into Head of Bancassurance Sales and work closely with the product team to set insurance sales strategies to increase revenue, volume sales and penetration of the customer base
- Experience in Premier Offshore insurance sales will have an advantage
Requirements
To be successful you will need
- A recognized university degree
- Advance experience in life insurance sales, preferably in the Bancassurance space. Experienced in managing an insurance specialist team
- Possesses strong sales management thinking, understands the insurance industry, regulations and compliance requirements
- Ability to work under sales pressure, independent and self-driven
- Good communicator, written and presentation skills
- Possess relevant CMFAS accreditation and RNF licensed
To be considered for this role, the relevant rights to work in Singapore is required.
The chosen candidate for this role will be required to undergo enhanced vetting. Subject to local laws, this will require the individual to satisfactorily pass a series of additional checks as part of the recruitment process and on an ongoing basis, if appointed to the role.
