We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Insurance Underwriting Team Leader.

Principal responsibilities

  • Acting as the leading role of optimizing the New Business and Underwriting processing on regular basis. Conduct exceptional reporting, investigate and resolve discrepancies by collaborating with stakeholders (finance, operations, IT, etc) to ensure fulfillment of internal and external guideline and regulatory requirement.
  • Prepare comprehensive management reports with analytical result and observation.  Ensure timely escalation if any adnormal and follow with related reporting protocol accordingly.
  • Responsible for reviewing operation’s quality performance. Enhance and streamline the end to end processing journey, prepare and supplement the workflow and procedures. Have the capability to review related customer correspondence and revamp to ensure an effective external communication and enhance the customer journey.
  • Carry out insurance policy administration tasks, including handle case referral, complaint case review and investigation, assist for overall effective control monitoring in NBUW Ops.
  • Participates in various projects assigned and drive a satisfatory result.
  • Support operation when required.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of full underwriting experiences and medical standard authority or above.
  • At least 2 years of management experience.
  • Familiar with insurance operation.
  • A good communicator and proficient english presentation.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, PPT. Capability of workflow and procedure writer.
  • Ability to work in a fast pace and a challenging environment.
  • Able to work in an agile environment.
  • A proactive and positive mind-set.

Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.
