We are now inviting qualified individuals to join this team in the role International Wealth and Premier Banking (IWPB) Finance Staff Officer.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit credit card returns to Central Bank (BNM) and Card Association.
- Able to work under tight reporting deadline for BNM reporting and card scheme submissions.
- To work closely with Information Management team on raw data extraction and compile data into reporting format.
- Able to work independently and deal with queries from business or other stakeholders pertaining to data/reporting submission.
- To provide necessary support to line manager and the team.
- Support digital agenda by way of streamlining existing reporting process or provide any digital solutions.
- To improve control governance of reporting process particularly to regulations.
- Maintain data integrity of Finance system through regular reconciliation and data clean up.
- To ensure adherence to HSBC Internal Control Standards, including timely implementation of recommendations made by internal/external auditors and regulators.
- An undergraduate, preferably in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
- Self-driven with strong quantitative and analytical abilities.
- Highly motivated and results oriented.
- Independent and able to work under pressure to meet reporting deadlines.
- Good communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
- Fast learner and able to multi-task with good time management.
- A good team player and adaptable to a dynamic working environment.
- Knowledge of programming language (Python, VBA etc) is a definite advantage.
