Our GCIO organisation plays a critical role for the bank. This team partners with our businesses to build the platforms, systems, and products that our customers use every day. This team keeps people’s money and data safe, and is at the forefront of driving innovation for our businesses, customers, and colleagues.

Principal responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and document with local business for full impact of incident and send the flash report for the bank.
  • Follow up and consolidate UAT results for locally conducted testing, either to support a new process or a change due to regulatory requirement, or for new feature releases.
  • Will help manage  “Production Support IT VNM production.support.it.vnm@hsbc.com.vn” along with the production team to help classify the issue, advise user on the overall incident process:
  • Raise a ticket
  • Send ticket to Prod team to follow up
  • Help classify tickets 
  • Document the full process
  • Help to consolidate all release plans from regional/local tech teams.  Help check timelines for each release and highlight any time conflicts to Production team. 
  • Help update Production team knowledge base in Confluence page (Process guide, lessons learned from critical issue/incident, useful links etc)
  • Keep a full log of all incidents in internal excel sheet to ensure sure all items related to the incidents are closed and follow up on outstanding items, as necessary. 

Qualifications
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Outlook, MS Teams)
  • Good research skills and ability to learn quickly
  • Good communication skills
  • Knowledge of programming languages, databased and other IT topics is an asset
  • Knowledge of banking / financial services is an asset
Requirements:
  • Being a student from universities/educational institutions (not graduated yet) 
  • Ability to intern full-time in 6 months
  • Have a recommendation letter for their internship period from universities/educational institutions
