We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Lead Assistant Vice President.

Principal responsibilities

  • The role is part of HSBC AMH (Hong Kong) Data & Analytics team and is responsible for the management of all customer information and provision of analytical deliverables for customer and banking initiatives and to support all RBWM activities. The individual is also expected to identify key trends that arise from the insights of customer data and work with other areas in RBWM to ensure they are taken account of.
  • The suitable candidate should be a self-driven person and a leader by nature in taking ownership of the deliverables. One should be technically profound and fully loaded with business acumen and communication skills. One will work hands-on with the Enterprise Data Warehouse and Cloud environment for data and analysis process, and are required to deliver the results in a logical and ethical way to the stakeholders.
  • Design, formulate, and implement relevant solutions for the identified analytics project and convert analytical findings/solutions that will lead to achieving business goals (revenue growth, anti-attrition, fraud detection and increasing customer engagement, etc.). During the process, closely collaborate with relevant teams/parties to obtain the supports required for these tasks.
  • Timely deliver output and effectively communicate with the stakeholders.
Requirements
  • University degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or other related discipline with minimum 8 years' working experience on CRM related areas and/or analytics to influence business decisions.
  • Strong knowledge on languages such as Python, R, SAS, SQL, Java script for data analytics and visualization.
  • Knowledge of in any one or combination of Big Data processing platforms e.g. AWS, GCP and Hadoop, and advanced BI and Data tools e.g. Qlik, Tableau, Adobe Analytics, SQL, Oracle etc.
  • Self-Motivated, positive, passionate and willingness of continue learning.
  • Effective communication, interpersonal, problem solving, presentation, and project management skills.
  • Possesses good understanding of business applications to convert data into a business value and advantage.

Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.
