We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Lead Consultant Specialist. 

Business: Enterprise Technology L3 

Principal responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of engneers specialized in Python,  Pyspark, K8S, Visulaization tools and DevOps engieering.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of projects, ensureing they meet quality standards and budget & timeline requirement, manage project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies as needed, and timely escalate major project risks & issues to senior managers.
  • Manage expecations and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the team, ensure best practices in coding, testing and deployment are followed.
  • Ensure the solution is reviewed and approved in the required governance forums, esnure FSA alignment is reviewed and embeded in the solution design.
  • Ensure the implementation of robust testing strategies, including unit test, integration test and automated tests.
  • Own incident and problem management for the services, resolving IT issues and minimizing disruptions to maintain service continuity, implement root cause ayalysis to provent recurring issues.
  • Ensure adherence to standard controls and drives teams to achieve compliance and framework, capability management, Security controls and technology architecture designs.
  • Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the team remains competive and innovative.
  • Ability to work with different stakeholders from different locations (China, Hong Kong, UK, India).
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within a technical environment.
  • 8+ years related experience in IT industry (Financial Service), particularly in Risk and Analytics areas.
  • Excellent problem-solving skilss and the ability to think strategically. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Solid and proficient skills in public cloud (GCP/AWS) and programming language (Python/Java).
  • Experience in delivering project accorss different platforms like Linux, Windows, K8S.
  • Experinece in different ELT technology like Alteryx, Pyspark, Datastage or SAS.
  • Experinece in different Visulization technology like Pydash, Tabelau, Looker or Qilksense.
  • Proven experience on design and implement DevOps Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) Pipleline. Experience on design and implement Kubernetes solution and relate cloud native tooling.
  • Possess hand on project management with Agile – Scrum methodology discipline.
  • Able to operate well across cultures and in multi-cultural, diverse work environments.
  • Strong analytical, design and problem solving skills.
  • Enthusiastic and self-motivated with excellent time management skills and strong initiative.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
  • Working experience in Risk and Analytics area is a plus.
