We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Manager, Insurance & Investment Compliance.

Principal Responsibilities

In this role you will

  • Monitor and control of Commercial Banking (CMB) Investment and Insurance Licensing affairs
  • Assist the team to draft and update Policies Procedures, Compliance Announcement, Reminder to align with the latest internal and external requirements
  • Assist the team to drive policies, procedures implementation with self-prepared training materials
  • Conduct regular training and awareness sessions to staff on Compliance related matters
  • Assist the team to work closely with frontline for provision of instant compliance advise and support functions to implement action plans, defining detailed responses and determining process
  • Perform oversight activities on insurance and investment sales process 
  • Manage, raise awareness, and assist in implementation of control within department’s sales process
  • Maintain the Policies and Procedures to ensure an updated and comprehensive operational manual in place to support frontline and backend colleagues as well as to foster regulator’s review
Requirements

To be successful you will need

  • Solid experience in commercial banking including strong process operational and implementation skills; Solid experience in insurance distribution or operation in insurance companies, brokers will be an advantage
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience of participating complex projects and communicating with senior management and other stakeholders
  • To be a team player who can foster good and collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders; Good interpersonal and negotiation skills in a cross functional environment to balance risk and business
  • Acquired skills in leading complex regulatory projects with excellent analytical, organizational, and decision-making experience
  • Possess high level of integrity and good analytical skills with good judgment and initiatives and be able to work independently
  • Fluency in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin
