We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Manager - Regulatory Compliance GSC.

Principal responsibilities

  • Fostering a positive culture of compliance by working proactively with the business line/global function/GCOO&GCIO, Chief Control Officers (CCOs) and other compliance professionals to ensure that best practices are followed in accordance with the applicable regulations and internal policy.
  • Providing compliance support, advice and guidance to the first and second lines of defense related to assigned regulation(s), regulatory requirements and/or compliance risks.
  • Support the Group's RC strategy by identifying, informing and advising Site Lead/Senior Management of any developing issues and trends that may impact or be relevant to the Group's management as appropriate of RC risk.
  • Supporting the execution of impact analysis and advice on regulatory change; driving co-ordination and execution of the various Regulatory Compliance change work ensuring alignment with Group strategy and policy.
  • Ensure effective Regulatory Compliance input to the governance and reporting processes operated by GSC management.
  • Providing RC-related advice and guidance and recording of the same through the applicable channels or platforms such as Ask Compliance; assist in any associated enhancements if any; and where necessary, challenge the RC-related risk and controls.
    Requirements
    • A post-graduate diploma or degree in any discipline is desired but not mandatory. Higher qualification not a bar provided aspirations commensurate with the position.
    • Minimum 5 years (or above) of experience in legal, risk, compliance, or general audit within a banking/financial institution will be an added advantage.
    • Ability to analyse and assist stakeholders on implementation of complex regulation changes, where applicable.
    • Strong interpersonal, organizing and planning skills.
    • Strong relationship management skills with internal site line management.
    • Strong communication, training facilitation, influencing, and negotiating skills.      

    Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.
