Operations Shared Services (OSS) drives operations' performance standards, service excellence, and consistency across the Group and our Global Service Centres (GSCs). This central team oversees areas such as business intelligence, cost management, reporting, billing and regulatory compliance. In addition, through its GSC Capabilities team, they are responsible for enterprise-wide workforce management, location strategy, future skills, and group common services (AI, automation, and other strategic initiatives).

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Officer, Business Support (12 months fixed term contact).

Principal Responsibilities

In this role you will

  • Handle administrative/office work and support the administrative/office work for team members
  • Invoice settlement, Fusion handling, follow up the invoice with various teams/departments, etc 
  • Perform facilities setup or meeting room setting and related arrangement; assist staff engagement activities, exchange/focus group, events, services and managing supplies - deliver and distribute fruit/soups/snacks/food etc
  • Handle review exercises for the department and enquiries from other departments 
  • Handle tasks related to mailing/document/cheque delivery - handle incoming/outgoing/registered mails and courier packages, register of incoming mails, sort mails from Post Office, mails collection & delivery, internal mails circulation, collect/deliver CPC bags/documents, deliver diskettes/reports, collect cheques & bounced CQ from lock box and diskettes from Autopay, coordinate with DHL for the ad hoc courier collection service including contact DHL, fill in cheque slips and scan cheques 
  • Manage refreshment and snacks as required, stock take for copy paper replenishment 
  • Required to take heavy stuff during the work process  
  • Support office relocation project as required

Requirements

To be successful you will need

  • Good writing skill in both English and Chinese  
  • Good in mathematics; good analytical mindset when handling a lot of figures and data 
  • Experience in banking acquiring business is an advantage; strong business acumen and analytical mindset with good problem solving and decision making 
  • To be a good team player with excellent interpersonal, collaboration, presentation and influencing skills 
  • Good time management; and ability in handling the daily tasks in a timely manner and to meet the deadline
  • An ability to work independently and under pressure in a dynamic and challenging work environment 
  • Willing to take and accomplish ad hoc tasks with quality 
  • Proficiency in using Excel (including vlookup), Word and Access, PowerPoint
