What you will do:
The purpose of the role of Operations Officer is to provide efficient processing services for trade validation, confirmation, settlement of transactions, post settlement queries & related services to Markets and Securities Services (MSS) Operations for Italy across all asset classes, predominantly GFX.
In this role you will:
- Ensure all trade validations and settlements are processed prior to the respective settlement dates across all asset classes.
- Provide high quality support services to MSS Italy as well as external customers.
- Validate and settle transactions for across all asset classes.
- Regularly review procedures and controls for existing products to ensure group standards are maintained.
- Identify and implement process improvements
- Ensure all transactions are settled prior to designate currency cut off and in accordance with the Payment Transparency guidelines (PT).
- Ensure effective coordination between the onshore and offshore teams (GSC KL, and GSC MNL) and active supervisory oversight is maintained at all times.
Qualifications
You should apply if you have:
- Accomplished studies in relevant discipline (Banking, Finance, Economics, etc.)
- Experience in relevant role
- Computer literacy, intermediate knowledge of MS Excel
- Well working knowledge of MS Office applications - MS Outlook and Word.
- Fluency in written and in spoken Polish and English
- Detailed oriented, good problem solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
- Experience in relevant role
