What you will do: 
The purpose of the role of Operations Officer is to provide efficient processing services for trade validation, confirmation, settlement of transactions, post settlement queries & related services to Markets and Securities Services (MSS) Operations for Italy across all asset classes, predominantly GFX.

In this role you will:
  • Ensure all trade validations and settlements are processed prior to the respective settlement dates across all asset classes.
  • Provide high quality support services to MSS Italy as well as external customers.
  • Validate and settle transactions for across all asset classes.
  • Regularly review procedures and controls for existing products to ensure group standards are maintained.
  • Identify and implement process improvements
  • Ensure all transactions are settled prior to designate currency cut off and in accordance with the Payment Transparency guidelines (PT).
  • Ensure effective coordination between the onshore and offshore teams (GSC KL, and GSC MNL) and active supervisory oversight is maintained at all times.
Qualifications
You should apply if you have:

  • Accomplished studies in relevant discipline (Banking, Finance, Economics, etc.) 
  • Experience in relevant role
  • Computer literacy, intermediate knowledge of MS Excel
  • Well working knowledge of MS Office applications - MS Outlook and Word. 
  • Fluency in written and in spoken Polish and English
  • Detailed oriented, good problem solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
  • Experience in relevant role
