This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of our product roadmap for our local client base and drive the growth of our business.

The Opportunity:

  •  The Product Manager, ETF Services role is a key member of the global ETF Services product team. The role will primarily focus on driving the development of the ETF product with specific responsibilities for contributing to the development of the product roadmap, the definition of the product proposition and supporting the associated business operating models across multiple markets. While the job holder will focus more on Asia, the ETF Services locations servicing these product groups are in the two main regions of Asia and Europe, so the job holder must work closely with colleagues across these locations to ensure that the strategic change initiatives and tactical enhancements to the ETF Services product are delivered to meet the evolving needs of the business, to time and on budget.
  • The role will include analyzing client requirements, working with product partners to design solutions/operating model and working with the project team on implementation. As with all product roles, the ability of the job-holder to work effectively and in partnership with the regional entities in the business is a key success factor.

What you’ll do:

Product Management

  • Build and strengthen product management function for ETF Services, especially in Asia.
  • Assist in ETF Sector management initiatives, working with colleagues in Europe and Asia.
  • Prepare product pricing strategies and maintain product rate cards.
  • In conjunction with IT, align the FA product architecture and design to the IT architectural blueprint.
  • Design and maintain global service definition documentation and relevant elements of sales collateral.

 

Sales and Business Development Support

  • Work closely with the Sales and Business Development team on RFPs, due diligence meetings and other discussions/negotiations
  • Produce and update marketing and sales collateral on an ongoing basis.
  • Provide support for client onboarding, where required, from a product perspective (e.g. operating model design, solutions to bespoke requirements etc.)

Operational Effectiveness & Control

  • Maintain and enhance the operating models for the ETF Product Services offering covering the OMS platform and associated linkages with Fund Administration, Transfer Agency and Custody platforms with a focus on building a scalable and global processing and IT infrastructure.
  • Working with global SSOs and regional Hub and Spoke structures to automate and streamline the operational processes.
Requirements

What you will need to succeed in the role:

  • Demonstrate a good understanding of the ETF industry and associated processes and market linkages
  • Operational experience in the financial services industry preferably in the fund administration services (5+ years).
  • Demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of the securities market, the associated market infrastructure and key market participants.
  • Strategic mind-set, with strong conceptual, creative and analytical content.
  • Strong organisation, multi-tasking and time management skills
  • First class interpersonal, collaborative, relationship building and influencing skills
  • Excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing, with good presentation skills.

What additional skills will be good to have?

  • Experience with working at an ETF Issuer, Index provider or an exchange will be an advantage
