We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Programme and Project Services Analyst.

The Opportunity:

The Programme and Project Services Analyst is part of the Project Management Office (PMO) of the WPB Change Portfolio The activities of the PMO are broadly centralized around the Portfolio Governance, Assurance, Reporting, Value Stream Investment Management and Change Management. This role will act as a source of guidance in supporting the Value Stream Leads for making strategic decisions. This role is responsible for ensuring adherence to the HSBC Change Framework, using the standard portfolio management tools aligned to the groups Strategic Tooling Spine such as Clarity, JIRA, Rally, and working closely with their colleagues the WPB Transformation team.

What you’ll do:

  • Monitor & Control, Report the delivery of SVS/ Programme/ project outcomes within the Valuestream
  • Support the Delivery leads in defining required scope, quality, cost and effort
  • Support QBR Rhythms. Co-ordinate & prepare materials for key SVS/ Programme/ project level ceremonies.
  • Manage delivery dashboards for insightful visualisation of flow of VS/ regions to support decision-making.
  • Ensure data is accurate and reporting the latest status for all the key parameters (VS, SVS)
  • Support in facilitating adherence of Change control around investment planning, scope, OKRs, features/capabilities
  • Ensure the portfolio delivery pipeline is connected with financials and within capacity
  • Collect & report thematic learnings from retrospectives to ensure cross implementation
  • Monitor & Control, Report financial guardrails, ensure controls are in place and variances are tracked
  • Monitor & Control, Report resource capacity pattern
  • Provide a view of the SVS/ Programme/ project’s financial performance and ensure those are in line with defined Value stream strategy, customer & business outcomes and OKRs
  • Support management of Sub-Value Stream Risks and Issues through appropriate tracking and involving key members of the transformation team as appropriate
  • Maintain continuous improvement plans to support the new Ways of Operating.
  • Act as an SME in case of tooling migration, etc.
  • Ensure compliance to HSBC Change Framework and bank standards

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • 5-10 years of proven work experience as a Project Management Officer or similar role in product/ services organisations
  • Knowledge of industry standards in programme, portfolio management
  • Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), PPM Tools, Collaboration tools
  • Working knowledge of coordinating projects run in Agile methodologies
  • Excellent organizational and technical abilities
  • Good interpersonal and multi-tasking skills
  • Relevant training and/or certifications as a Project Management Officer
