International Subsidiary Banking (ISB) is at the heart of the Group’s strategy to develop our International Network and serves Large Corporate and Middle Market clients across the Wholesale Banking Markets. 

• This role is responsible for driving growth and revenue and customer base for ISB in Mexico while supporting Global CMB’s corporate clients to operate internationally
Interacting with Global Relationship Managers, CMB leadership, and clients from the 60+ countries HSBC CMB is present, Focused on the French Corridor
Responsible for managing and leading the ISB RMs with full credit and operational risk oversight, support formulation and implementation of strategy, which will include new client acquisition, portfolio and Risk-Weighted Asset (RWA) management, returns etc. This role includes client-facing responsibilities
Support the Head of ISB Mexico & LAM in the formulation and execution of key strategic projects to deliver a seamless service to clients
Be an ambassador for HSBC Mexico, able to attract in-country business and help connect colleagues for outbound opportunities
Lead the execution of the global strategy for ISB in Mexico to drive revenue growth, achieve Annual Operating Plan (AOP) targets and key performance indicators, revenues, expenses, ROWRA, asset and liability balances, while building a sustainable business model
Establish and maintain a robust and efficient control environment across the team to ensure good operational, financial and project management and compliance with HSBC Group policies and procedures, together with early identification and effective resolution of issues that arise 
Requirements

• University degree or equivalent in business or related discipline
• Strong general Banking experience with exposure in sales, commercial lending, credit structures, risk assessment and trade finance 
• In-depth knowledge of HSBC’s product suite and network; local working experience in Mexico is a plus
• Strong credit assessment skills, particularly with regards to more complex and structured facilities 
• Proven ability to deliver creative and flexible customer solutions 
• Demonstrated flexibility and excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize work and function independently to optimize the business benefits in a multiple stakeholder environment
• Self-motivated with strong leadership, excellent influencing, communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for and developing people
• Fluent in English, Spanish and French
