Job description

The selected candidate should have experience and skills to contribute to the development and expansion of long-term relationships with clients in Brazil and their global operations. The candidate will support the coverage of the main Brazilian corporates and larges Multinationals that operate in Brazil with structured demands.

The candidate will be responsible for supporting the RMs growing revenues offshore and in Brazil derived from Capital Financing (DCM, Credit & Lending, Acquisition Finance, Asset Finance, M&A, ECM) Global Markets (Interest Rate & Derivatives, FX), Transaction Services – Cash & Liquidity Management, Securities & Trust Services and Global Trade & Receivables Finance, and investment management solutions.

The selected candidate will be responsible for key aspects of the relationship management function for the coverage portfolios — including oversight of credit, KYC and/or internal projects and initiatives, documentation, among others as they arise.

 Responsibilities

  • Support deliver innovative solutions to client’s needs across all product lines, gaining significant ancillary business and above hurdle RoRWA returns for the Group.
  • Suppor and coordinate origination and execution of activities across the platform including Capital Financing / Global Markets / Transaction Services products.
  • Support achievement results against client plans for revenue generation, franchise transactions, alignment with product partners and customer satisfaction.
  • Adhere to strict risk guidelines for lending and market exposure and ensure that we are comfortable with credit quality & RoRWA returns.

Observation of Internal Controls

  • Understand, follow and demonstrate compliance with all relevant HSBC internal and external rules, regulations and procedures that apply to business conduct specifically Internal Controls and Compliance policies.
  • Maintain HSBC internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators.
Requirements
  • Track record of managing clients and new business origination skills.
  • Basic experience with IFRS / financial statements, company valuations, capital structure, ratings, funding / capital markets and investments.
  • Basic knowledge of Credit, risk management and risk mitigation strategies
  • Well organized with an analytical approach to problem solving.
  • Able to cope well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Degree in Finance, Math, Business Administration or related field
