In this role, your key mandate will be to grow, acquire and proactively manage a portfolio of internationally based Global Private Banking clients. You will proactively profile Global Private Bank CIIOM and partner with the Global Relationship Managers (GRM) throughout the Global Private Banking network, primarily across MENA (UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Egypt), Asia (Hong Kong, ASEAN and India) and EU International Markets. 

This is a unique opportunity to use your Relationship Management experience to gain significant exposure to a range of international private banking markets. 

In this role you will:

•    Proactively grow, profile and position GPB CIIOM as the centre of excellence for GPB clients within the US$2m – US$10m AUM segment to each of the priority GPB Markets and GRMs across Asia, MENA and Europe. 
•    Proactively position and profile the value proposition for GPB CIIOM, including the investment, digital and credit capabilities in partnership with both the GPB GRM’s across the priority markets and clients booked in GPB CIIOM. 
•    Develop, deepen and enhance highly effective partnerships and relationships with the respective GPB GRMs to broaden and deepen AUM as well as profitability. 
•    Assess client needs to provide Global Private Banking services to GPB CIIOM booked clients with the support of partnership of Investment Counsellors and product specialists. 
•    Build effective partnerships and network internally across the other key lines of business to strengthen collaboration and connectivity from within GPB CIIOM and HSBC Group.

Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

•    CISI Level 6 qualified - essential
•    Demonstrable experience of managing a book of private clients, Trusts and corporates with investable assets in the region of $2-10million and above - essential
•    Able to build effective, collaborative and productive internal alliances across various business areas
•    Evident experience of delivering against and exceeding key financial targets - essential
•    Personable working approach with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and demands

This role is based in Guernsey.
