We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Secretary, Life Insurance. 

Principal Responsibilities

  • Responsible for providing dedicated, administrative and secretarial support to the Senior Executive for ensuring timely completion and compliance with established internal standards
  • Provide high quality email, diary management and travel services to support the effectiveness of the senior executive
  • Serves as a liaison with others within and outside the company handling activities such as event planning, travel arrangements and project follow up
  • Effective management of the team administration and risks
  • Monitor the business operations and areas of accountability regularly
  • Ensure timely and accurate maintenance of business information
  • Responsible to produce reports, presentations, spreadsheets as when required
  • Adhere to HSBC policy, procedures and control requirements applicable to day-to-day working, exceptional and project activities, and raise any concerns about actual or potential issues promptly, in line with reporting and escalation procedures
  • Ready to take up Ad hoc projects and tasks
Requirements
  • Previous administrative or secretarial experience in financial services
  • Strong interpersonal skills, as well as excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Keen awareness of risk and operational controls
  • Clear ability to delicately handle internal relationships
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • High integrity and professionalism
