HSBC Market & Securities Services provides comprehensive global, regional and domestic fund services including fund administration, global custody and sub-custody settlement and services. Securities Lending Operations is a dynamic department that works with partners across the HSBC Global Banking and Markets business to deliver Securities Lending solutions to clients.

The key purpose of the role will be to ensure that we implement an effective account management strategy that recognises and adapts to changing client requirements as automation and digitisation reduce reliance on operational interaction day to day, and clients seek to extract additional, long term value from their service providers.

In this role you will:

  • Oversee and maintain the highest levels of service standards across our multiple product offering for our Corporate and Institutional clients, ensuring client satisfaction and reference ability
  • Support Client Executives and Sales Directors in identifying and realising cross sales opportunities for existing and prospective clients, ultimately contributing to our growth strategy
  • Proactive management of issues and client escalations across all products and jurisdictions by directing the resources in each service component or jurisdiction
  • Sponsor and drive service improvement opportunities through automation and digitisation and prioritise change management agendas across the business
  • Establish an agreed governance framework and meeting schedules to deliver strong senior client engagement and maintain full compliance with internal controls 
Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

  • Track record in owning and maintaining client relationships across securities services products
  • Number of years of experience in a Client Management function
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills including ability to lead executive level meetings
  • Sound understanding of commercial and contractual drivers and contribution to revenue genration and business performance
  • Proven capacity to operate across a complex organisation collaboratively, whilst ensuring that the agreed client/HSBC agenda is effectively managed
