We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Sr. Associate Director, Delivery Management.
Business: CTO Data Technology
Principal responsibilities:
• Influence strategy and shape the programme approach, building stakeholder buy-in around plans, commitments and changes.
• Accountable for the delivery, governance & reporting to stakeholders including business & technology.
• Ability to build effective senior stakeholder relationships. Confidence to constructively challenge the agenda in order to help the business and technical teams deliver maximum value for each $ invested.
• Ensure the programme aligns to HSBC strategies and contribute towards achieving strategic aims
• Ensure that all Technology practices and associated tools are being adopted and adhered to within the Programme
• Accountable for the financial management of the programme, including headcount and software delivery capitalisation
• Work in collaboration with the Head of CTO Data Tech - DATaC for the negotiation with and management of, and service agreement monitoring of third party contracts with Technology suppliers, if applicable
• Manage the development and promotion of the project management practices for Data Delivery
• Work across business and technology to ensure that effective controls, procedures and quality assurance processes for the product have been applied in line with the Business Transformation Framework and HSBC Risk and Controls framework
• Manage the reporting of progress, issues, dependencies and risks to committees and make recommendations to influence decision making in order to maintain progress towards delivery and benefits realization
• Experience running portfolio oversight delivery
• Experience in Portfolio and Programme Management (PPM)
• Ability to design and implement policy frameworks in the context of a large financial services organisation
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Experience with business transformation
• Deep experience with governance, particularly change execution and RAD
• Experience with financial management (desirable)
• Resilient with strong influencing skills
• Strong customer-centric focus, with proven ability to rapidly build relationships, trust and credibility with senior management and senior stakeholder groups
• Proven ability in managing senior business relationships in a complex matrix environment
• Financial Management role experience
• Able to manage competing and changing priorities and bring stakeholders together to achieve a common goal
• Ability to rapidly adapt to process change, portfolio reprioritisation and manage simultaneous tasks in a pressurised environment
• Self-starter and able to work autonomously, with little direction
• Able to challenge the status quo and suggest viable alternatives in process and approach
