We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Business Analyst

 

Business: CIB - Global Banking Tech

 

Principal responsibilities

This role is principally an Business Analyst role with business analysis responsibilities to manage and execute analysis activity for one or more projects.

Responsibilities will include some or all of the following:

  • Support Scrum Master and Product Owners to create requirements / user stories and managing the backlog
  • Translate business risk appetite/posture into functional and non-functional requirements/stories
  • Create analysis of customer journeys, product functionality and business process
  • Work closely with developers, testers, support staff and architects and a variety of end users to ensure technical and operational compatibility and quality for agreed solutions
  • Experience of analysing complex infrastructure upgrades affecting multiple countries, products, customers and applications, usually including comprehensive regression and non-functional testing
  • Experience of working with a virtual team made up of stakeholders and IT colleagues from multiple disciplines, geographies and timezones

Requirements
  • 5+ years IT project management / SCRUM experience
  • 5+ years business analysis experience within Financial Services/Software sector
  • Understanding of Agile metrics and reporting like User story mapping, Story point sizing and ranking according to value based priorities.
  • Proven experience of working in large, complex programmes across multiple streams and geographies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Understanding and implementation of key agile artefacts
  • Complex Business and IT systems analysis
  • Non-functional requirements gathering and analysis
  • Technical document writing
  • Business case development
  • Strong team player, volunteer
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic and fast learner
  • Appetite and desire to initiate change and execute strategy
  • Cultivates a collaborative and cooperative attitude
  • An appreciation and respect for local cultures, and ability to both influence and work effectively with them
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (written and spoken)
  • Comfortable with both detailed reporting and executive communications
  • Microsoft Office skills essential – particularly Outlook, Excel, Word and Powerpoint
