We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Business Analyst.

Principal responsibilities

• Support a diverse portfolio of data requirements throughout the various phases of the change process, ensuring that all requirements are clear, complete, and thoroughly understood by all impacted stakeholders.
• Assess each change request against established requirement standards, actively engaging with requirement raisers to address and fill any identified information gaps in the requirement documentation, thereby enhancing the quality and clarity of submissions.
• Collaborate closely with IT teams to analyze and decompose requirements, identifying any discrepancies between requirements and design. Ensure that all design aspects are clarified and agreed upon before handover for development, transforming requirements into actionable designs that IT can implement.
• Assist in planning and conducting requirement impact assessment sessions, attending these sessions to gather insights and follow up on any information gaps identified, ensuring that all relevant details are captured and addressed.
• Foster effective communication and alignment on data requirements by collaborating with cross-functional teams, promoting a culture of transparency and teamwork.
• Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement within the requirements gathering and change management processes, leveraging feedback and lessons learned to enhance future initiatives.
• Utilize strong analytical skills to identify potential issues between requirements and design, proactively proposing solutions to bridge gaps and facilitate smooth development transitions.

• Demonstrated expertise in IT change management, with a strong emphasis on requirements documentation and analysis to facilitate successful project delivery.
• In-depth understanding of fundamental data architecture principles, enabling effective collaboration and communication with technical teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to work closely with IT teams to analyze and decompose requirements, ensuring all design aspects are clarified and agreed upon prior to handover for development.
• Proficient in utilizing Jira for project management, effectively tracking progress, and supporting agile methodologies.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, allowing for clear articulation of ideas and fostering collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with key finance reporting processes, including Risk-Weighted Assets (RWA), Liquidity, and Business Finance, along with an understanding of the data types utilized in these processes, is highly advantageous.
• Knowledge of critical finance and non-finance platforms and refineries, providing a comprehensive understanding of the operational landscape and enhancing decision-making capabilities.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex data sets and derive actionable insights that drive business improvements and strategic initiatives.
