In this role you will:

  • Review, approve, and sign off on High Net Worth (“HNW”) underwriting decisions, including Financial Crime Compliance (“FCC”) risk sign off
  • Work closely with the Global Insurance Underwriting team for HNW insurance business
  • Resolve underwriting queries from brokers, and connect with relevant reinsurers as required 
  • Ensure outwards facultative reinsurance is in place as needed 
  • Provide technical support for HNW business, including reviewing and approving HNW claims
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external partners, including international brokers and reinsurers 
  • Implement controls to ensure medical and financial underwriting decisions are made appropriately, and policies are recorded accurately

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following criteria: 

  • Solid experience in HNW insurance underwriting; limit of 10M+ strongly preferred 
  • Solid knowledge of FCC risks, and experience in HNW facultative reinsurance 
  • Excellent planning and communication skills, and the ability to develop solid relationships with a variety of stakeholders across seniorities and geographies
  • Ability to self-start tasks, work independently, and take initiative when required
