We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join our team in the role of Senior Cash / Cards & Liquidity Consultant. In this role you will drive revenue for the Group by originating leads, building and maintaining strategic relationships with new and existing clients across the North in order to identify and sell innovative cash management solutions to meet customer needs across the Corporate segment.

Whilst this is a Hybrid role, the base location will be Bristol and elements of travel are required when visiting clients across the region, principally Bristol, Cardiff and South West.

In this role, you will:

•    Be a champion of Global Payments Solutions coverage with the MME and ISB segments
•    Originating & developing opportunities to meet the needs both domestic and international customers within the corporate market, covering payables receivables and liquidity solutions.
•    Retaining and growing existing customer portfolios to maintain and increase revenue and deposit balances for HSBC
•    Drive, track and close complex sales that may cover multiple products/services within agreed timescales, using judgment to influence key decision makers to achieve timely closure of deals.
•    Collaboration with colleagues across the Global Payments Solutions business including Service, Product and other sales teams domestically and internationally as well as other Product Partners & Relationship directors.
•    Take responsibility for ensuring that cross-border referrals and/or international solutions are successfully concluded, and the requirements of internationally focused customers are met by collaborating with others to resolve complex issues, and by sharing best practice with others at a senior level.
•    Analyse, understand, interprets and communicates what is happening in the marketplace across their customers and business segments and proactively share ways to differentiate and deliver value to our customers in line with HSBC strategy

Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

•    Relevant product knowledge and experience of consulting and selling complex products to corporate clients – this can include global or domestic treasury payments & cash management solutions, liquidity structures, Cards solutions & innovative digital solutions.
•    Proven ability in identifying and meeting customer needs through matching a broad range of products and services
•    Good level of business acumen and commercial awareness, including economic, cultural, procedural and regulatory issues
•    Experience of successfully influencing others, negotiating effectively, and winning over audiences with compelling and persuasive presentations
•    Act as a strategic advisor to customers, having established and built valuable long-term relationships with significant customers at a senior level 
•    Built effective networks both internally and externally and created opportunities for others to work collaboratively  
•    Dealt effectively with highly complex commercial information and business challenges to create strategic business plans which effectively deliver results
•    A track record of successfully identifying and developing significant/complex business propositions, that attract and entrench customers, in a fair and ethical way
