We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist.

In this role you will:

  • Technical SME for Mongo DB, associated technologies and automation.
  • Technical SME for Oracle, associated technologies and automation.
  • Working with lead solution and infrastructure architects to deliver quality, scalable and performant services
  • Responsible for rollout of operational toolkits and service monitoring solutions required by the role to enhance the ability to troubleshoot and ultimately prevent customer facing issues
  • Delivery of new and upgraded database services
  • Delivery of security enhancements and fixes as required
  • Mongo DB Certification desirable
  • Oracle certified desirable . End to end systems architecture knowledge
  • A sound understanding and working knowledge of HSBC processes (change management, ITSA, access management, tooling, data security, etc)
  • DevOps principles for efficient delivery. Mentoring and supporting colleagues
  • ·Infrastructure design and architecture – collaboration with Solution Architect and Lead Developers. Team Leader capability
Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

  • Experience in Mongo DB
  • Experience of delivering enterprise scale Oracle infrastructure to aggressive timescales and targets
  • Planning multiple work streams, delegating and coordinating amongst colleagues
  • Reporting to senior stakeholders
  • Self-sufficient and demonstrating initiative
  • Service-oriented approach to ensuring service is priority
  • Automating to increase efficiency and improve quality
  • Flexible approach to working (location / availability)
