We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist.

Principal responsibilities
- Be responsible in user requirement gathering, detailed requirement documentation by working closely with the project stakeholders including IT and business users. Ensure the business need can be translated into executable artefacts for development team.
- Work closely with stakeholders, architects, and a variety of end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction.
- Work with development team to clarify the user requirements, conduct system testing, prepare test plan and test cases.
- Work with business users on the UAT execution, defects follow-up with application development team
- Conduct user training session on system functionalities.
- Designing, coding, and debugging Java-based applications using Spring Boot and Spring Cloud Framework.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyses business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Developing and maintaining scalable and secure cloud native solutions utilizing Java and related technologies.
- Integrating applications with cloud-based services such as Ali Cloud, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Ensuring code quality through automated testing, code reviews, and continuous integration practices.
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues in production environments, ensuring smooth application performance.
- Utilizing Oracle database technologies for data storage and retrieval.
- Implementing job scheduling and automation using Airflow/Flink
- Building frontend Web UI to visualize data using React/Vue/Angular frontend framework.
- Developing Unix Shell scripts for system integration and automation.
- Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications with a focus on scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Design and develop data analytics solutions leveraging AI LLM (e.g., GPT/Deepseek) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques.
- Implement RAG workflows to enhance data retrieval and contextual understanding for analytics tasks.
- Integrate AI models into existing systems to enable advanced data-driven decision-making.
- Implement monitoring and observability solutions using Prometheus and related tools to ensure system health and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud-native technologies and best practices.
- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues in cloud environments.
- Implementing DevOps practices for continuous integration and deployment.
- Collaborating with teams using Jira for project management and issue tracking.
- Configuring and managing build pipelines using Jenkins for continuous integration and delivery.
- Strong programming skill in Java/Python and SQL.
- Be professional in applications development in micro-services framework, familiar with restful API with JAVA/Python.
- Experience with Spring (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud etc.).
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms including AWS/Azure/GCP/Ali Cloud
- Experience with LLM prompt engineer, training and deployment.
- Understanding of RAG workflows, combining large language models (LLMs) with external knowledge bases for enhanced data retrieval and contextual responses.
- Knowledge of Oracle database technologies for data management.
- Proficiency in Unix Shell scripting for system integration and automation.
- Experience with CI/CD, Jenkins.
- Experience with Cyber Security.
- Experience with data visualization
- Experience with React/Vue/Angular frontend framework.
- Knowledge of Linux server and distributed system.
- Follow Agile methodologies and Devops process through software lifecycle.
- Familiarity with project management and issue tracking.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively communicate technical concepts.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Able to manage the relationships with stakeholders.
- Able to work independently, under pressure and proactively in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines.
- Proficient in PC applications, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Previous working experience in the banking industry or financial services is highly desirable.
- Good communication in English, Cantonese as well.
