We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist.
Business: CTO Infrastructure
Principal responsibilities
- Part of an Engineering discipline within Connectivity, provides the ability to shape and grow the discipline globally as part of the wider Connectivity Transformation.
- Chance to be part of an Agile transformation.
- Part of a team building a global product – HSBC Internal Cloud.
- Exposure to both Networking and Software Engineering.
Requirements
- Must have experience of software delivery life cycle along with a passion for engineering products and automation.
- Exposure and awareness to other disciplines (Analysis, Testing, Operational Support) within the software delivery life cycle.
- Background of working with the Agile methodology and associated tool sets – Jira, Confluence etc….
- Evidence of designing and building restful APIs for customer consumption.
- Proficient in the use of Golang, Java, Python, YAML, Kubernetes, Ansible Automation Platform, Docker, Jenkins and Git.
- Ability to work as part of a team to ensure team success in the form of value add deliverables with a regular delivery cadence.
- Customer and service focused, representing Connectivity globally.
Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.
