- Strong experience of working in an Agile & DevOps environment including expert knowledge of scrum management tools (e.g. Jira)
- Demonstrable technical leadership and teamwork skills.
- A successful track record of delivering complex projects and/or programmes, utilising appropriate techniques and tools to ensure and measure success
- Experience of delivering solutions that align to approved design patterns and security standards
- Risk management experience monitors, identifies, and develops action plans to remediate risks
- Experience of operating in a large scale and highly regulated industry (e.g. financial services)
- Should be willing to work in shifts and be on “On call ROTA”.
- Candidate should be able to work independently in Production Support team for Digital/Non Digital Systems.
- Good knowledge of platform activities, incident, problem management and production support processes of tickets and defect management.
- The person should have substantial experience in working for production support in digital systems.
- Having prior experience in DevOps environment is an advantage.
- This role will also contain automation related tasks and deployment so preferred candidate will be someone who has some basic knowledge on Python , Jenkins and any other automation related skills.
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Experience in Java Web services SOAP/REST, JSON
- Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Mule API Gateway, Docker
- Cloud Platforms – AWS Cloud
- Software Production support analyst with willingness to take occasional code fixes
- Knowledge about CICD Pipeline (Jenkins)
- Good Scripting language knowledge (like Python)
- Hands on Version control tool like GIT
- Automation experience
- Good Communication skills, Analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem solving skills and attitude.
- Demonstrate ability to rapidly build relationships with key stakeholders
- Lead, Mentor, guide and train team members.
- Good knowledge and working experience in Agile / scrum / Kanban methodologies.
- Scripting language (Groovy/Python/Shell)
- We do build tools that may require UI/ web browser development skills which will be a bonus
- Large scale networking, load balancing, F5/Bluecoat, proxies, managing ssl certs
- Agile Tooling - Jira, Confluence, Slack
- Knowledge and hands on work in Splunk and AppDynamics will be a great asset.
