We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist. 

In this role, you will: 

  •  Have deep knowledge of F5 products, specifically LTM, AWAF modules and NGINX.
  •  Be responsible for end-to-end product lifecycle management for load balancing technologies.
  •  Design, develop and test automation workflows and pipelines.
  •  Provide support and maintenance of our platform and automation.
  •   Be acting as a role model and trainer to junior members of the team
  •   Be able to prioritize efficiently and ability to adapt in a dynamic working environment, considering changing needs and expectations.
  • Be able to interpret user requirements to meet technical development needs as well as interpret technical development needs/questions into user friendly communication.
  • Create technical and functional documentation/JIRA tasks etc.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements: 

  •  Previous experience of automation with F5 products, including the use of AS3.
  •  Strong troubleshooting capabilities using tooling such as SevOne, Splunk and NNM
  •  Experience using Git Hub, Jenkins & Jira.
  • Very good understanding of networks and networking concepts, inc. DNS, routing and switching and firewalls.
  •  Coding skills in Python and Ansible as well as previous knowledge deploying to AWS not essential but would be helpful.
  • Working experience of Agile methodologies including Scrum.
  • Ability to establish collaborative and inclusive environment to achieve as a team.
  • Be available for out of hours working including planned change activity and on-call
