We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Control Manager, Technology

Business: Regional CIO - ASP

Principal responsibilities

  • Lead the assessment of technology risks across all functional areas, ensuring comprehensive coverage.
  • Provide support to CIO to drive bank-wide enhancement and implementing risk management strategies in related to Technology Resilience and Cyber.
  • Subject matter expert for risks and controls in Technology, ensuring timely identification and escalation of issues, and definition and tracking of remedial action plans, and continuous monitoring.
  • Ability to write risk papers and procedure manuals as and when required.
  • Manage stake holders in local, regional and group risk functions.
  • Oversee the technology risk management program/project (as applicable), functioning as an independent and objective body responsible for identifying, assessing, mitigating, and monitoring all technology especially resilience related.
  • Establish and maintain technology risk oversight through the development and analysis of integrated Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and applicable Key Control Indicators (KCIs).
  • Maintain oversight on major IT incidents, ensuring proper corrective actions, identifying root causes, and driving effective preventive actions.
  • Manage Read across activities including relevant global MSIIs.
  • As liaison for IT related audit activities, including coordination of preparation, responses, monitoring until completion of agreed actions.
  • Ensure the effectiveness of the technology and cyber risk management reporting process, enabling timely escalation of severe operational risk incidents and submission of reports to related risk forums and committees.
  • Provide high quality inputs to governance meetings on technology risks, issues, incidents and service resilience (listed below).
  • Prepare and lead periodic IT CEMM (Control Environment Management Meeting) session, which include scorecards of risks & emerging risks.
Requirements
  • Experienced technology risk & control manager.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Stakeholder management experience.
  • Be a proactive problem solver.
  • Proven ability to quickly learn and absorb new information, processes and procedures.
