We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant  Specialist.

In this role, you will:

•    Ownership and accountability of the delivery coming from the POD, and in the process ensuring the timely delivery with utmost quality
•    Working closely with the demand side of the project to create a supply backlog for the respective POD and effectively planning this within Sprints to ensure aligns with wider project plan
•    Calling out any risk associated in these deliveries at the right time along with the mitigation plan if any
•    Effective Channelizing and Utilizing of the POD capacity to the demand of the project and showing ability to move between these delivery demands
•    Provide support to team in their end-to-end delivery and run lifecycle, utilizing their skills and expertise to carry out software development, testing and operational support activities
•    Liaise with other engineers, architects and business stakeholders to understand and drive the product or service's direction
•    Working with Ops, Dev and Test Engineers to ensure operational issues (performance, operator intervention, alerting, design defect related issues, etc.) are identified and addressed at all stages of a product or service release/change
•    Working closely with POD team and ensuring the POD team adheres to the KPIs in the form of Production - release, stability and toil
•    Keep up-to-date and have expertise on current tools, technologies and areas like cyber security and regulations pertaining to aspects like data privacy, consent, data residency etc. that are applicable
•    Working closely with POD & application team and ensuring the POD team adheres to the KPIs in the form of Production - release, stability and toil.

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

•    Having 10+ years of relevant IT experience with a knowledge on Java 8, Micro services, Spring boot and other J2EE technologies.
•    Candidate must have strong working experience with SQL programming to write queries including joins, triggers, views, Stored Procedures, etc.
•    Experience working with Jenkins, Git/Stash or similar CI / CD platforms
•    Have a strong commanding skill in working closely with small team and getting things delivered.
•    Ability to respond to questions / points of clarification from application suppliers, test teams and business in respect of the functionality being delivered 
•    Demonstrable experience in the areas described above in a medium to large software delivery environment
•    Ensuring the Technical standard and coding Practices are followed in the deliveries. 
•    Ensure and Embed Agile and DevOps practices within the team. 
•    Ability to respond to questions / points of clarification from application suppliers, test teams and business in respect of the functionality being delivered.
•    Deliver releases in an agile delivery environment and capability to work with multiple teams within the project.
•    A proven track record of the successful delivery of large-scale projects in previous domains to tight deadlines
•    Excellent interpersonal skills, written and verbal & Effective communication skills.
•    High levels of enthusiasm and a desire to deliver the best quality products possible along with maintaining very high service levels.
•    Strong technical skills to fully understand the development process.
•    Knowledge of effective delivery practices within an agile/scrum delivery cycle.
•    Good problem-solving skills

Additional Skills

•    Good to have Unix shell scripting, Micro services, Spring boot etc
•    Previous experience in Banking and Finance domain.
•    Exposure to Basel II/Basel III, Liquidity & IRRBB is a great value.
•    Exposure to multiple ETL technologies is a plus.
•    Ability to deal with frequent changes.
•    Must be able to work independently with minimum guidance.
