We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Manager, Solutions Structuring, Global Trade Solutions.
Principal Responsibilities
In this role you will
Provide expert direction and advisory subject matter expertise for the completion of complex solutions and deal structures, alongside execution of high-quality service to our customers across all segments
Communicating new products, propositions and relevant market information to customers, as well as co-creating structured solutions with customers
Identification of opportunities in structured Global Trade Solutions (GTS), including assessing any gaps in current offerings, and ensuring these are developed
Devising plans and strategies to generate new business as well as increasing revenue for existing ones
Drive business growth focusing on industry groups & sectors, corridors, strategic priorities, etc. Leading initiatives such as sales enablement and GTS penetration across the region
Collaborating with internal stakeholders, which may include relationship managers and product specialists, to maximise cross-selling opportunities for the bank
Utilise client relationships to drive revenue in key industry groups and optimise wallet opportunities, as well as sponsor key client relationships
Build a robust knowledge base by documenting and analysing deals won and lost, extracting lesson learned, and creating replicable frameworks for future opportunities
To be successful you will need
Extensive knowledge and experience on GTS, trade products and market dynamics; Extensive knowledge and experience in structuring complex GTS deals, based on in-depth knowledge of the GTS product offering
Strong knowledge of macro trends and industry groups dynamics in a continuously evolving external environment; Extensive experience in managing a global / regional P&L or a senior global management role in the erstwhile components of Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB) / GTS with experience working across multiple regions and in customer facing roles
Experience of creating, leading and motivating a team, as well as managing teams across multiple locations; Proven and progressive product management, business planning and financial management experience including experience in the operational side of international banking
Significant leadership experience as a strategic thinker with a high level of business acumen and commercial awareness; Highly developed communication and influencing skills coupled with ability to design and define solutions that add value to customer relationships
Ability to use strong judgmental skills to identify and resolve problems whilst maintaining budgets, time scales and quality of output; Track record of resilience and confident challenge when dealing with senior stakeholders to influence change without direct responsibility for resources or budget
Excellent communication and inter-personal skills, with experience of dealing with executives at all levels; Ability to develop practical, cost-effective solutions to what are often complex global issues
