It focuses on developing innovative strategies to promote the Bank’s products and services, leveraging market insights to drive customer-centric communications and foster sustainable relationships. We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as Senior Marketing Manager, Wealth.
Principal responsibilities
- The key function of this role is to shape and execute marketing strategies to grow the holistic wealth offerings for the strategic segments and drive product take up to grow wealth business.
- Develop customer-centric marketing strategies to reinforce WPB’s leadership in wealth management.
- Report directly to the Head of Wealth Marketing and will work closely to collaborate across Business Units to ensure alignment and effectiveness in delivering proposition-led marketing activities that to drive business growth, enhance customer experience in a cost-effective manner.
- Develop and deliver compelling propositions by leveraging customer insights and lead the development and execution of marketing initiatives to acquire new WPB customers across all segments. Promote the product take up and cross-sell of insurance, investment, and transactional products by designing targeted initiatives.
- Strengthen relationships with existing WPB customers by increasing product penetration through a diverse range of marketing activities which aligns with compelling propositions.
- Drive marketing planning and oversee the budget for marketing activities aimed at building the strategic segments. Establish metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of those marketing activities, providing regular reports and actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate closely with various business units, including HACN Marketing and drive marketing strategies to achieve the aligned shared business goals while driving marketing synergy across different segment within WPB.
- Identify and purse collaboration opportunities on joint marketing initiatives with external partners to create added value and synergy.
- Build trust and work collaboratively with vendors and agencies for assigned projects through performance monitoring, clear communication, mutually beneficial terms, and ensure compliance.
- Responsible for providing aligned strategic direction and guidance to direct reports while connecting with other marketing team to achieve synergy. Act as point of escalation for material issues/ concerns related to the implementation of business strategies and operational controls within the team.

- Manage the daily marketing operations by promoting accountability and identifying opportunities for synergy and optimization. Drive performance of the direct reports and clearly communicate performance expectations on a regular basis.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience, including at least 4 years of proven people management experience.
- Experience in the financial services, in particular insurance is preferred.
- A deep commitment to customer-centricity, driving all strategic thinking and implementation with the customer in mind.
- Extensive experience in consumer marketing at a management level, ideally with brand market experience.
- Strong strategic and analytical skills, with the ability to think hypothetically and make sound judgments.
- Experienced team leader with strong team player qualities, able to thrive in diverse cultures and across departments. Proven excellence in stakeholder management and relationship building.
- Skilled in project management, leveraging resources effectively to maximize value.
- Proven ability to self-start with energy and drive in a challenging and dynamic environment.
- Innovative thinker, capable of shaping and communicating new concepts effectively.
- Proficiency in both English and Chinese.
