We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist

In this role, you will:

  • DEVOPS role for a (cross functional engineer) to provide Technical Analysis, Coding and essential support for the Equities Back Office settlement system. Candidate will work on the multi-valued platform deliveries working with different team members globally. 
  • As a Devops Engineer, responsible for coding, Unit Testing, Deployment, preparing technical Specifications and Production Support.
  • Role is of an Individual Contributor but requires to be a great Team player with capability to learn quickly on the job
  • Work would include Development activities like coding for Change Requests, Unit Testing, Production Support, scripting & managing CI/CD aspects of the application
  • As Devops Engineer, Production Support aspect of the job is part of the responsibilities. This includes, but not limited to, Ticket Logging, Mailbox and Job Monitoring, escalations and communications with various upstream and downstream systems and any other stakeholders.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Overall, 10 years or above of industry experience 
  • Similar sort of relevant experience on working in Multi-valued Databases like UniData/Universe(preferably)
  • Strong Hands-on experience in corresponding Programming languages like PickBasic or Unibasic
  • Good understanding of Middle and Back Office functionality of Cash Equities Trading.
  • Strong knowledge of UNIX, scripting 
  • Good working experience with DevOps tools like GIT, Jenkins, JIRA, Confluence etc…
  • Any experience with Automation tools like Ansible will be preferred.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
  • Proficient in Manual and automated testing
  • Proficient with Unix commands
  • Working on Investment Blanking applications.
