We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Software Engineer.

Principal responsibilities

  • Senior Software Engineer responsible to design, develop, build and deploy the new features or capabilities to My Workspace platform.
  • Participate as a scrum member and provide the technical support for any user story, ensure the stories delivered meet the business requirements and are delivered on time, within budget to an agreed level of quality.
  • Participate in project meetings despite their nature and have to ensure that all the findings of the meetings are getting practically addressed in the project.
  • Participate in the core banking front end system analysis activities with other teams and make sure the functionalities are same as the legacy systems.
  • Design, develop automated test cases during development process and make sure the test cases are incorporate into the daily build process.
  • Ensure all the code passed the SAST/DAST scan such as Checkmarx, Sonar, NexusIQ etc and no Cyber security compliance issue.
  • Providing governance, advice, and technical support to various MWS teams involved in the deployment process, including product development, testing, and operations.
Requirements
  • Up to date knowledge and practical experience of various programing languages, frameworks, cloud services, toolkits and methodologies (Java API, React.JS, Angular, SHP, AWS, IKP).
  • Strong domain knowledge on Staff Channels applications, e.g. HFE/SFE/MWS.
  • Strong analytical, design and problem solving skills.
  • Strong understanding of Agile and DevOps ways of working (ideally with qualification)
  • Passion for technology and understanding how things work, actively keeps themselves up to date.
  • Good communication, presentation & influencing skills, able to operate well across cultures and in multi-cultural, diverse work environments.
  • Able to work under pressure and resolve production critical issue.
