We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of  Senior Software Engineer.     

Business: CIB - GPS Tech

Principal responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain responsive, user-friendly web applications using React.js, and other front-end frameworks.
  • Collaborate with designers, back-end developers, and product managers to ensure seamless integration and optimal user experience.
  • Design and implement efficient, scalable, and maintainable front-end architecture.
  • Work on server-side using Node.js when needed.
  • Utilize expertise in DevOps practices to streamline deployment pipelines and CI/CD processes.
  • Create and execute automation testing strategies to ensure code quality and reliability.
  • Collaborate on product management tasks, contributing to planning, prioritization, and execution.
  • Optimize applications for maximum performance and scalability.
  • Investigate and resolve any problems raised including production incident.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in front-end development and DevOps.
  • Ensure that systems are implemented in accordance with IT standards, under DevOps and Agile principle.
  • Ensure system complies with group policies and standards.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in software development with a focus on front-end technologies.
  • Expertise in react.js development.
  • Expertise in server-side JavaScript (Node.js).
  • Have some backend development experience and eager to be full stack engineer.
  • Familiarity with MI dashboard products (e.g. data dashboard and analytics platforms).
  • Proficiency in automation testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Jest).
  • Proven ability to manage and deliver complex projects or products.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with good English.
