We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Software Engineer. 

Business: CTO Data Technology

Principal responsibilities

As a Data Analyst / Modeler, you will be at the forefront of turning raw data into actionable insights. Your role involves analyzing data, creating visualizations, and designing data models that empower decision-making across our organization. You’ll work closely with stakeholders, data engineers, and data scientists to ensure data quality, accuracy, and relevance.

Data Analysis and Insights:

  • Collect and analyze cloud-based data from various sources.
  • Apply statistical techniques to identify trends, patterns, and correlations.
  • Translate data findings into actionable insights for business stakeholders.

Data Modeling:

  • Create and manage conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
  • Work with data analysts to define data requirements and design data models.
  • Collaborate with the development team to ensure database design meets application needs.

Quality Assurance and Data Integrity:

  • Conduct data quality checks and address any issues.
  • Ensure data integrity, consistency, and accuracy.
  • Implement data governance practices.

Continuous Learning and Innovation:

  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
  • Explore new ways to enhance data analysis and modeling capabilities.
  • Contribute to the evolution of our data ecosystem.
Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in data analysis or modeling.
  • Familiarity with Google Cloud services (BigQuery, Data Studio,  etc.).
  • Exposure to machine learning concepts is a plus.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating data.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Google Data Studio, Looker).
  • Knowledge of statistical techniques and data modeling principles.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
