We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Software Engineer.
Business: CTO Infrastructure
Principal responsibilities
- Completion of incidents received through ServiceNow within the agreed SLA.
- Prioritize and deliver service to agreed SLA, within a diverse and constantly changing technical environment.
- Provide technical support and resolve issues related to windows 11, including system crashes, performance issues, hardware compatibility and software.
- Assisting with the installation of software configuration issues and windows 11 on new devices or for system upgrades.
- Monitoring system performance through event logs and security issues.
- Ensuring security configurations and compliance with company policies, including antivirus settings, firewalls and users access controls.
- Report promptly to management regarding critical outages until resolution.
- Interact with infrastructure, release management, change management, QA, and application support teams.
- Participate in cross-functional delivery of complex issues involving internal and external teams.
- Acquire good process knowledge and be informed of all new updates/additions and functions.
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver within limited timescales, whilst maintaining quality.
- Technical support l2/l3 skills experience in providing end user support.
- Strong working knowledge on Windows Operating system, managing local and domain user accounts (Active directory).
- Good working Knowledge on SCCM and Adaptive client tool with networking concepts and remote assistance.
- Advanced troubleshooting knowledge on Hardware and System performances with resource management.
- Ability to research and gather information to support technical decisions.
- Good communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts clearly to global users and provide excellent customer service.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skill to diagnose and resolve issues.
- Power shell scripting.
- Stakeholder/Vendor management.
Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.
