We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist.
In this role, you will:
- Be responsible for HSBC internal reconciliation platform - Smart Reconciliations aka SREC - PL SQL recon-based platform
- Work towards engineering excellence and operational efficiency to be achieved through DevOps
- Work towards priorities defined by product owners in the business to collaboratively build out the Product/Platform for TLM and DUCO
- Responsible for delivering tasks end to end with high quality and in line with design and architecture laid out. Strive towards no post implementation issues.
- Production support on rotation basis, environment management, release support and automation implementation to be part of day job.
- Maintaining our Agile and DevOps and delivery principles
- Collaboration with IT, change and business teams along with DevOps principles maintained all the time
- Provide full and comprehensive documentation of all changed and new components so that they can be successfully promoted from
- Understanding of TLM / SREC match rules, Initiations / Pass Lists, etcs
- Understanding of Database Indexing and Performance Tuning of Dashboards and Match Rules for optimal performance
- Understanding of CT packages and applying the packages to target environments Progressing system changes within the applications, component testing and integration testing solutions as far as 'ready for UAT'
- Proactively get involved into the initiatives to run, manage, and implement solutions driven towards OKRs.
- Work proactively on automation to reduce production accesses, TPAMs, minimize production incidents, etc
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Technical
- Proven experience with TLM Premium (v2.5/v3.0 mandatory), TLM Control, Recon Admin, Design Studio, Smart Studio, Web Connect, CT Tool, and Smart Schema (v2.7).
- Experience with Smartstream and other reconciliation platforms for end-to-end delivery.
- In-depth technical knowledge of TLM products, including UI customization, workflow, database structures, schema design, and Smart Schema usage.
- Experience building and deploying CT packages, progressing system changes, and conducting component/integration testing up to UAT.
- Skilled in updating Control configurations to support upgrades.
- Hands-on DevOps experience, including CI/CD pipelines and automation with SQL/PLSQL.
- Solid understanding of Agile development practices.
- Proven expertise in SQL/PLSQL.
- Strong Python and Django skills for automation, file processing, and innovation.
- Demonstrated ability to automate processes and reduce production incidents using Python/Django.
- Proactive in driving and implementing solutions aligned with OKRs.
- Track record of developing capabilities in highly configurable application environments.
- Non-technical / General:
- Previous experience in Banking and Finance domain.
- Experience in agile delivery mechanism.
- Any DevOps tooling experience, CI/CD pipeline, automation would be an added advantage
- Strong communication skills - experience of interfacing with IT Lead/Delivery Manager, Architect, business Product Owners and IT offshore teams
- Interpersonal Skills
- Ability to deal with frequent changes
- Ability to work with Global stakeholders, vendors
- Must be able to work independently with minimum guidance
