We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior Vice President Global Trade Solution Sales Chinadesk.

Responsibilities:

  • To generate sales through New Money, New to Bank or New to GTS clients. The individual should find and assess an opportunity within the marketplace and match the solution within GTS offering that meets specific needs, also developing new revenue streams by actively finding identifying new customers and selling innovative GTS solutions thus maximizing commercial profitability.
  • He / She should also understand the risk profile of relevant products and clients and act as the sales representative on opportunities with key clients and/or deals. At all times they will follow best practices in lending and risk policies ensuring that this remains in line with economic and market practices.
  • Collaboration with internal stakeholders to optimize utilization of facilities set up for the customers within agreed time frame. This includes working with RMs and other respective teams as necessary

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Fluent in Mandarin and able to communicate accordingly with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Min. 3 years of relevant experience in managing corporate/commercial customers, including selling trade products.
  • Extensive knowledge of global trade finance, services, products, and techniques.
  • Extensive knowledge of the market & market trends, competitive environment, and regulatory environment.
  • Sales & Client Management experience at a senior level including dealing with senior executives plus a proven sales record
  • Proven ability in identifying and meeting customer needs through matching a broad range of products and services
  • Ability to understand a customer business and the fundamentals of running a business
  • Ability to interact with business customers at all levels
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent range of communication skills, including written, verbal, and the ability to deliver compelling presentations
